Questions about making Reservations
  1. How do I make a hotel booking with Philippine Hotel Reservation Service?

    You can make reservations by filling up an inquiry form. Our travel consultants will get right back to you within 24 hours to advise you about the details of your booking. You can also call us or chat with us using the LiveChat function in our website. Our travel consultants will be happy to help you find the best hotel choice for your travel preference and budget.

    In order to avail our discounted prices, your stay has to be prepaid. After confirming your reservation, the travel consultant will advise you about the payment details of your booking. Once the payment has been received, PHRS will send you a travel voucher, either by email or fax. In case of last minute bookings, PHRS will send the travel voucher directly to your hotel for you to pick-up at the front desk.

  2. Are your prices subject to taxes and other charges?

    No. All PHRS Room Rates are inclusive of all local taxes and service charges.

  3. Are your prices per room or per person?

    Our room rates are per room per night. The rate is usually good for 2 guests, as specified by the regular room occupancy in the detailed hotel description. Certain room categories may allow for more people (e.g. family rooms).

  4. Is breakfast included in the rate?

    It depends. Most hotels offer a complimentary breakfast with the room. To be sure, please see the rate inclusions in the detailed hotel description.

  5. What if my preferred hotel is not available?

    One of our travel consultants will offer you alternative hotels that fit your travel profile. With so many hotels to choose from in the PHRS hotel listing, the likelihood of finding a similar hotel is very high.

Special Requests
  1. Can there be more than 2 people in the room?

    Yes. Although most rates are good for 2 guests, most hotels allow for additional guests to stay in the rooms and will provide an extra bed for that person. However, most hotels will charge extra for this service.

  2. Do my children stay for free?

    Yes, although there are some exceptions. Usually children under 12 years of age will stay free of charge when sharing their parents' bed.

    However, each hotel has specific policies on this. Our website provides this information in the detailed hotel description.

  3. My nanny and/or my driver are accompanying us. Do I have to pay for them?

    Yes, in most places nannies will be charged the regular extra person price when staying in your room. However, some hotels may give further discounts if the extra person in the room will not have breakfast at the hotel's restaurant.

    Another option to save on costs is to have your helpers stay at less expensive quarters. Philippine Hotel Reservations Service can provide you with cheaper pension houses nearby the hotel/ resort of your choice.

  4. Can I make any special requests?

    If you have any special requests like a specific room, late check out, bed type, non smoking room etc. we will forward this information to your hotel. However, we can not guarantee that these requests are going to be met, as they may depend on availability upon your arrival at the hotel.

  5. Do you offer long term stays?

    Yes. Many of the hotels and condotels in our listing provide long-term stay rates. Please ask our travel consultants for special discounts for long-term stays.

  6. Do you offer multiple night packages?

    Yes, certain hotels offer a minimum of 3 days/ 2 nights packages. Our rates however are mostly on a per room/ per night basis. We believe this to be a better value for families or larger traveling parties, as most packages are quoted on a per person basis.

  7. Do you also offer flights to my destination?

    We are not a regular travel agency. We only focus on hotel bookings within the Philippines. This means PHRS directly does not offer airline bookings or other travel services as passport processing. However, we partner with two large Manila-based travel agencies that can offer you both domestic and international airfare at very competitive prices. Simply send us your flight requirements and we will provide you with the best offer for your trip, if available.

  8. Do you offer transfers?

    Most hotels we book offer transfers to/from the airport, either at an extra charge or for free. See the hotel amenities of your hotel choice for more details.

Payments & Cancellations
  1. How can I pay for my hotel reservations?

    Because PHRS offers substantial discounts on hotel bookings, all stays have to be pre-paid. Once your reservation has been confirmed, your payment is due within three days (See our terms & conditions for more information on the specific rates).

    There are three ways to pay for your stay: (a) credit card, (b) bank deposit, or (c) cash:

    • (a) Credit Card

      When paying within the Philippines:

      We accept all major credit cards. For the processing of the credit card, PHRS will email or fax you a credit card authorization form. Please print out the document, fill out the necessary information and fax it to us at (02) 812 4970 (When faxing from outside the Philippines, please fax it to +63 2 812 4970).       When Paying outside the Philippines:

      You can pay using PayPal . PHRS will send you an email with a link to your personal online PayPal invoice.

    • (b) Bank Deposit

      Deposit your balance directly into one of our Philippine accounts. Please make your payments to the following account name: PHRS Philippine Hotel Reservations Service.

  2. Are there any extra charges for using a credit card?

    No, Philippine Hotel Reservations Service does not charge any fees for using your credit card. Instead, PHRS offers additional discounts on selected hotels if guests prefer to pay in cash.

    For credit card bookings, a fee of 6% is non-refundable in the event of any cancellations made fifteen(15) days or more from the date of payment.

  3. Can I cancel or change my hotel reservations?

    Yes. However, there may be cancellation or amendment fees depending on the rate you booked. PHRS offers several rate categories that may carry differing restrictions. Please refer to our terms & conditions for more information on specific rates.

    In addition, hotels may impose a cancellation charge. Cancellation policies differ as they are determined by the hotels and not by PHRS. Please see the detailed hotel policy for information on the cancellation policy of the hotel of your choice.

    Our office is located at Rm. 302 Cattleya Bldg., 235 Salcedo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City. We are located in Makati between Greenbelt 1 and Makati Cinema Square. The nearest cross street is Aguirre St. Coming from Greenbelt 1 take Gamboa St.. Turn left into Salcedo Street. Cattleya Bldg. is on the right hand-side and has a Mini Stop Market at the Ground Floor. Our office is located at the 3rd floor.
