Makati offers a wide range of hotels from budget pensions to the Philippines' finest luxury hotels, making it sometimes difficult for a traveler unfamiliar with the area to choose a hotel. Philippine Hotel Reservations Service can help you find the best place to stay. In general, Hotels in Makati can be separated into two main locations: Ayala Center and Makati Avenue/ Burgos St Area.
The first location is in Makati's Central Business District, where hotels are located near the Ayala Center, one of the Philippines' most popular and biggest mall complexes. Prominent hotels surrounding the Glorietta and Makati Greenbelt malls are the Inter-Continental Hotel, Dusit Hotel Nikko, Makati Shangri-La, Manila Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental and the Ascott Makati (formerly Oakwood Premier).
The other Makati City locations where hotels can be found is in the upper part of Makati Avenue. Near Makati's entertainment and nightlife establishments, the traveler can find rest and relaxation in hotels like the Oxford Suites, Makati Palace Hotel, A. Venue Suites or the Best Western Astor.
A number of well-established Condotels represent a good alternative for the more budget- oriented traveler or travelers that plan for longer-term stays -- BSA Tower, Perla Mansion, Prince Plaza II, or the Sommerset Condotels are all serviced apartments that combine the benefits of hotel and furnished apartments.
