PHRS Rates Categories - Terms & Conditions

Philippine Hotel Reservations Service (PHRS) offers several rate categories which have differing terms and conditions. Please see details below for the exact terms and conditions of the rate that you booking.

The PHRS FLEX RATE is an unrestricted rate which is valid for all customers making reservations via the internet or the call center

This rate is very competitive and allows guests to avail of great savings even if their plans may change in the future.

PHRS will not charge any service fees for cancellations and booking amendments or changes. This fee is however different from the hotel’s specific cancellation charges that may apply if cancellations are made beyond the cut-off period, as prescribed by each hotel (please see the detailed hotel policy for information on the cancellation policy of the hotel of your choice).

In order to avail of the PHRS Flex Rate, your hotel stay must be prepaid. The payment for the hotel stay has to be made at least 3 days after the reservation has been confirmed by your PHRS travel consultant. The BEST BUY INTERNET PROMO RATE is the cheapest rate available only for our internet customers. Since this rate comes at a substantial discount, the following restrictions apply:
(1) Cancellations: For cancellations PHRS will charge a $10 USD service fee; in addition, hotels may impose a charge for late cancellations. Cancellation policies differ as they are determined by the hotels and not by PHRS. Please see the detailed hotel policy for information on the cancellation policy of the hotel of your choice.
(2) Changes: for any changes on the booking, PHRS will charge $10 USD service fee
(3) Book & Buy: the hotel stay has to be pre-paid. The payment for the hotel stay has to be made immediately after the reservation has been confirmed by your PHRS travel consultant. For more information on how to make a payment with PHRS please refer to the FAQ section of the PHRS website.
(4) Limited availability: Since this is a discounted rate, PHRS has only limited rooms available at this rate and thus can not guarantee the availability of this rate at all times. We advise to book early for your stay in order to have a higher chance of obtaining this special discounted rate.

The BEST BUY LOCAL RESIDENTS RATE is a special rate that hotels grant to only specific customer groups. This special rate is only valid for Filipino citizens and expatriates with Philippines as their residence. Depending on the hotel, this rate may also be extended to Balikbayans. Please see the hotel’s rate inclusions to verify if the rate is also valid for Balikbayans.

To avail of this rate, customers MUST present proof of residence upon check-in. For local citizens this may be any valid ID. For expatriates, this may be a valid Alien Resident Card (ACR). For Balikbayans this may any document proving that the Philippines as his/her place of birth.

If the customer fails to provide such proof, the hotel reserves the right to decline the customer this special rate and instead charge regular walk-in rates. In such cases PHRS can no longer guarantee the local resident rate and can not be held liable in any way.
